Legacies typically don't get cut first round but you aren't guaranteed the house you want just because you're a legacy

For most chapters, unless you're a legacy of a current active or a recent alum that still know, it doesn't matter much if you are one. There are so many legacies that it's just too much to keep up with. Most Sororities have hundreds of chapters nationally so it's hard for them to care that your mom was a legacy at some random school in another state because so many chapters are so different at other school.

Being a legacy unless it's a small chapter usually means nothing unless the relative was recently in the chapter at OSU.

Don't think that being a legacy means you are viewed that much differently than a non-legacy. The fact is that there are so many legacies that the distinction doesn't really mean much any longer.
