sororites cant go out?

so i was at a rush event for a frat and they were telling me that sororities cant go out this week?
whats the deal with that?

During the time of recruitment, all PHA women are not allowed to go out. Not on weekends or week days. Girls can get fined or in serious trouble. It's to make sure PNMs aren't invited out to parties to sway them.

im a freshman going through recruitment but i know alot of girls in sororites already just from high school and ive seen on their snap stories and instagram pictures of them going out....so is this not a strict rule thats enforced?
