rush as a sophomore

whats the deal with rushing a sorority as a sophomore? is it harder to get a bid/do they judge you more critically?

I'm a sophomore here going through rushing, too. I was told that it is a bit harder, but we can still be more competitive than the freshmen that are shallow with the selections (i.e. the ones that select houses based on their tiers that they don't really fit into) if we as sophomores are honest with the selections.
