hazing

So I'm not sure whether or not I am going to rush but hazing is a really big issue for me and do fraternities go really hard here? My brother is an SAE at university of texas austin and said that there is a lot of hardcore stuff that goes on down there.

I really wish I could get hazed more constructively than what I've heard the chapters here do.
