what are the stereotypes of the top 6 fraternities

If you'll be a freshman in the fall, you should know that you are not allowed to rush until your second semester, as per Ohio State requirements so take first semester to figure it out for yourself. If you'll be a sophomore in the fall, you should already know the stereotypes

There are only 5. SAE isn't top and won't be top for a while. Don't be ridiculous.

Phi Psi - Usually communication majors. Rich hipster kids who are, on average, about as smart as a wall but it's okay cuz they got trust funds.

Sig Chi - If you're not from Cincy honestly don't bother.

TKE - Hardest partiers at OSU but that's all their good for. You could probably have a more intelligent conversation with a doorknob.

KapSig - Peaked in high school. These are the type of kids who try wayyyy too hard to be "frat" and get on TFM. It's almost amusing some times.

Delt - Smart kids but are about as soft as a pillow.

They all party hard (prolly not Delt) and have fun but they all have their goobers and tards. Don't limit yourself and go to some of the middle tiers, too. Honestly, as long as you're in one of the "relevant 12" frats on campus you'll be really socially active and meet some great guys.

Rankings stem from sorority opinions. Sorority opinions stem from 1. how wealthy your organization makes itself out to be (parties, house size, how many times you try to drop the fact youre a finance major in a singular conversation) and 2. level of creepiness (this is because all fraternities are holistically creepy). 1 is incontrovertibly more important than 2 -- 9/10 times a girl will go to a party sponsored by a rich fraternitiy regardless of how creepy the brothers are.
