I feel sorry for the new guys that joined. they feel cool at first because they got a bid back in fall quarter. then they feel cool again because they go active winter quarter. then when all the real pledges from real fraternities go active in the spring, they look like losers and regret their decision

Being required to attend an event and one's ability to fulfill that requirement is arbitrary if we did not choose to attend the event voluntarily. Being a leader isn't about how others perceive us based upon attending or not attending a "mandatory" leadership seminar. Life goes beyond the regulations of university greek life, which most of them will not help us after college what so ever. Don't do things to look good in front of others, do them because you want to and they mean something to you.

Re: Unhappy I am in kappa and I am not trying to self rank I just felt the need to respond to that post.... If a girl in our pledge class was truly that unhappy i'm pretty sure she wouldn't have chosen to initiate this past Saturday.... and all of the girls we took on bid day initiated...
