dry houses

How strict are houses that are dry? And does this just mean in general you have to get drunk before heading to a party there or what? Just having a hard time visualizing what a typical weekend for a "dry house" would be.

Dry houses have their functions at live outs, and are generally pretty strict about consumption in the house.

If your weekend only consists of you drinking then you are probably in TKE's because you have nothing going on for you. A real fraternity is always fishing, going to the range, doing other stuff besides drinking. Dry houses actually drink a lot in there house and the reason you can tell is look at the dry houses on campus and how many times they have gotten in trouble. The dry houses are constantly in trouble because they are always doing stuff they aren't suppose to.
