Does rushing a sorority as a junior have that big of an impact when it comes to receiving a bid?

It really depends on how much room a sorority has for new members. If there are alot of freshman and maybe sophmores that go out for rush, a sorority will be more likely to pick them because they will be in the sorority longer. Not to say you shouldnt try though beucase im pretty sure every year some sororites take juniors. Also it might be easier to get in during informal recruitment. Good luck!

im in a middle tier sorority (some say upper middle some say lower middle so im going with middle) and we didnt take any juniors in the fall because of how competitive it's gotten. maybe itll be better with DZ coming into the mix.
