my uo gpa is 2.0 should i rush?

I'm gonna be a sophomore and I really wanna do rush but my GPA is 2.0 should I bother rushing? Or do sororities not care about grades?

you will get dropped by every house. that is below the required gpa for every single house. a 2.8 is the lowest gpa to rush with and even then you are limited to 4 houses max that won't drop you right off the bat.

thats pretty low but they do still give you a probation period most of the time. might as well try if you want to rush, just explain to them what happened and that you can do better

A 2.0 is way too low to be joining greek life. Despite what people think, we actually care a lot about grades. I'm in a fraternity, and we wouldn't give you a bid because of your gpa, and fraternities are a little more lenient than sororities. Greek life takes up a huge amount of time as it is, so if you're barely even getting the gpa to be enrolled at UO then you might want to work on that first.

That's not a good gpa but honestly your major maaaaay help like if you're a science major or something. Those classes are exponentially harder than others like journalism. But still it's not good
