when is the best time to rush?

I want to rush right away as a freshman, but also think it might be a good idea to wait and get myself established at the school. Am I hurting my chances if I wait until sophomore year? Am I right that it only happens in the fall?

Ok so your chances are best as a freshman, but theres a solid number of sophomores who rush. And formal rush occurs only in fall, some houses do informal rush but there's no guarantee that you will be invited to it, and the numbers are very small. For some reason, a stereotype stands that everyone gets a bid in these situations, but that's not the case. Do formal rush for the best chances.

And do it as a freshman. By senior year most greeks are at the bars and not as into their houses so dont wait until sophomore year.

Rush as freshman, you don’t need a whole year to get acclimated to college. If you don’t rush as a freshman, you’ll see everyone else having a good time while you sit in your dorm. Haha. Good luck man
