it will be taken into consideration but it’s not by any means a gaurenteed bid from DG. things like rec letters and being a legacy arent as prioritized here at oregon like they would be at a school in the south or places where greek life is bigger. plus even in the south having a sibling in a chapter at another school wouldnt be that much of a helping factor since sororities rank so differently depending on the school. for example here at oregon gphi is stereotyped as a “lower tier” sorority and at UW its considered more of a “top tier” sorority (not saying tiers are important) but youre definitely dealing with two very different houses, even though theyre both gphi, so having a sister in the same chapter wouldnt do you that much good.
