Sorority rush help

Hi i’m a freshman and i want to join a sorority but im kind of scared of rushing and getting judged. Im also nervous about the time commitment because i want to go into engineering. is it better to wait until the spring to join a sorority i heard you can join without rushing

You can cob in the fall or spring with is more or less informal recruitment but the chances of getting into the sorority you want is higher in the fall because there's less spots open in the spring, as well as not everybody offering spring rush and a lot, smaller quota.
