what makes some sororities harder to get into?
by: pnmI keep reading things saying that some sororities are harder to get into...what makes them harder? Do they accept less people? Also which is the hardest to get into?

Sororities that are harder to get into are the ones that more PNMs put at the top of their lists, which are typically the ones that rank higher on this site. Because selective sororities have more PNMs that want a bid from them, they can afford to make steeper cuts every round without fear of missing quota. Every sorority has the same quota, and more selective sororities often take more girls. Failing to meet quota, or cutting it too close, is a bad sign for the sorority and sometimes means that they will have to do COB/informal.
