Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at New York University - NYU 2.7 So i resisted posting a review for DG because I was afraid that people would immediately know who posted it and come after me but you know what, enough is enough. I'm not a DG. To a lot of people this fact is surprising because for a year, my friends and I, all of which were part of the founding class, were all over DG's social media. We were the only girls who consistently made appearances at other greek life events. We also were some of the first girls to say the hell to it and drop. Not because we didn't want to be in a sorority. Not even because we thought we were too good for the sorority. No, we dropped because sisters didn't support us when we participated in other greek events. We dropped because every little thing we said and did was judged and scrutinized, even when the leaders of the sorority were doing the same (if not worse). We dropped because many of the sisters didn't know how to deal with personal conflict and LITERALLY tried to kick us out. I don't know what's going on now, but based on the comments made the past few days, it appears they still don't know how to do that--on both sides. Y'all need to get your act together, figure out who the hell you are and what you want your reputation to be, because right now, as an outsider looking in, all I see is a high school cafeteria filled with cliques. Support each other. Get off the damn internet and deal with your problems face to face. Making it so obvious that there are problems within DG isn't gonna help your chances with Spring Rush. And boy, do you need to do well with that.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at New York University - NYU 1.4 Overall a very forgettable sorority. I agree with a lot of the other posters here, when bullies get into power, it really is never a good thing. It’s awful how only a few people can change the whole dynamic of a sorority. I do feel as if some of the “leaders” are just there for the sake of appearing popular on social media and to benefit themselves. Hopefully the new leaders will be much better at managing things and bringing the sorority together.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at New York University - NYU 2.5 @everyone posting: the old leadership's reign of terror is officially over and they will all be graduated/no longer in positions of power by the end of this year! The new leadership actually seems dedicated to making significant change/removing negativity FOR GOOD, but we'll see if they actually deliver :/ #fingerscrossed

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at New York University - NYU 3.5 Honestly, some girls aren't bad, some are so weird, and they need to sort out what kind of girls they want, use better people to recruit and get new leadership. could be good but too many girls with sticks up their asses and makes me not enjoy being in a sorority.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at New York University - NYU 2.7 Delta Gamma had the potential to be much more than they are right now, but unfortunately they burned bridges with many of the "fun" girls--girls that many current members still party with--to fulfill some sort of personal vendetta . They have a rep. for being a "bigger" sorority, though realistically they're pretty comparable to the mid tiers. Current leadership really does have sticks up their mutual ass, the last review was pretty accurate in characterizing them. And it's dragging down a chapter that could otherwise be more successful. The new class as well as some of the older classes more outspoken members have potential, but the combination of the leadership discouraging their ideas for positive change, as well as a lack of opportunity for participation keeps them back a lot. If given a chance they could still turn things around, tbh I feel bad for the girls who want dg to be more than a group of girls who hang out, masquerading as a sorority. Maybe next years leadership can make dg more of the sorority I wanted it to be, or at least not hinder the people who haven't given up on the sorority yet.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at New York University - NYU 3.0 Ok I'm going to be honest here--I was once a member of this sorority and left for personal reasons. These personal reasons were that a select group of girls (who were in positions of power) marred the experience for both me and others by punishing those who they did not like for doing the same things that they did every weekend. Most of these girls have already graduated or will graduate this year, and with them so will the cattiness. However, because the sorority was so new when they were literally bullying sisters, they lost many great girls for the wrong reasons. It's bad when members of other greek organizations can only name girls who are no longer in DG. The sorority is definitely on the rise, but seeing as they fell all the way to the bottom, there's literally no other way for them to go.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at New York University - NYU 2.0 Hmm, okay Delta Gamma. It must be a total coincidence that today, KKG got a lot of "Bottom Tier" bad reviews, while DG got a lot of "Top Tier" good ones - all written around the same time. Clearly written by the same person in DG. Try harder next time! I'll add though that your Dream Girl contestant was cute.
