Frats Weighing Girls For Entry

Is it true that some frats here weigh girls before allowing them in to parties? Maybe I haven’t been paying much attention, but as an incoming sophomore in a sorority, I’ve come across houses that don’t let girls from certain sororities in, but I’ve never seen anyone get weighed upon entry. First of all, that’s pretty douchey considering weight looks different on everyone. Second of all, what is the cutoff and why?
