even it the pledge run was mandatory, that is still an indirect cause of death. i can't see them getting in too much trouble for it.

I read somewhere that the pledges had to jump off the bridge and swim across. then said he possibly could have done this and hit a rock...

If that is true and Sig Ep MADE or TOLD their pledges jump off the bridge, that is considered hazing (forcing someone to do anything against their will). If Sig Ep found guilty of this, they are done.
