Potential discrimination at Clemson Sororities

by: PNMS alert

Be advised that the student body at Clemson is 44% OOS. At least 4 some say 5 srats take mostly in-state
imo. By laws at most sororities prohibit geographical discrimination. What can you do? Contact the national chapter of those srats and complain. If anyone thinks this in incorrect- by all means release the statistics as proof.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no such bylaws exist but thanks for the laugh! Chapters maintain the right to select their membership any way they want, a bid to join is not an obligation to offer nor to accept, and no one is owed an explanation from a private organization. Your bitterness has you confused. If you think this is incorrect- by all means get some therapy.

You actually think that National Fraternities don’t have rules. Right you get to make them up as you go! Ridiculous!!

Discriminating against OOS students is not permitted. Just because it’s happened in the past doesn’t make it right. But to be honest, group 2 is looking better and better. You should work on recruiting for the University, you make Clemson and your house seem so tasteful and educated . Lol

OOS enrollment is almost 50%! Clemson’s administration needs to look at the in-state vs out-of-state ratios in these southern sororities. Contact nationals AND Clemson administrators. Breaching national rules is a serious matter. Clemson Panhellenic denies this is a thing, but they should be required to release the acceptance ratios.

Contact the national chapter of each of the sororities in question. It’s very sad that the houses that do this think it’s okay. Not a good look. Good luck oos.

Did I hit a nerve? Is it happy hour? You asked for evidence and I gave it to you. Ad hominem attacks are not relevant. Go group 2.
