"Lambda chi alpha "associate members" have had full and equal rights in the chapter. Including voting privileges, ability to hold office and attend all meetings. Wear the letters and regalia of the fraternity. Associates have a vote upon signing of their bid card, associates meet with active chapter, associates and actives work together on any task, associates CAN HOLD OFFICE!?! Associates are never forced to take tests or do any work against their will!!!!"
You guys are idiots for starting this fraternity. Why would you bring back a horrible national fraternity to Chico? You guys should of brought back Beta Theta Pi, Delta Chi, Sig Ep, TKE, or SAE rather than a horrible ass scrub national fraternity that hands everyone letters...
Also anyone can attend their meetings!!!!

I heard one of their "members" wants to start it cuz his dad was in LXA here which is respectable. However I heard the chapter died cuz I poor grades and low numbers in the early 2000s. Of course this is all here say but I mean it could have been attributed to the fact that they have no pledge process. It's a significant deterrent to join.

They are a horrible national fraternity for a few reasons.
First the best part of joining my fraternity was the pledge process. The pledge process gave me professional skills, and made me value and respect the fraternities history, traditions, and ideals. Also it gave me a sense of pride that I'm now a member of the greatest fraternity in the country.
Lambda Chi Alpha will unfortunately never offer this. And they have a reputation nationally as a GDI frat that people join if they don't get bid or can go through an actual fraternities pledge process.
I met a PIKE from the University of Oaklahoma and he said PIKE would go and attend all Lambda Chi meetings weekly because their meetings are all open to the public and must be publically posted.
I don't know about you but this sounds like a friendship club or a sorority more than anything. Without a pledge process there is no brotherhood.

Met alot of these guys I think you guys don't know them and should get to know them more before generalizing and posting stuff like this. The thing is that there are a lot of trolls here who post as lambda just to get a kick. Just like there are ppl who post stuff as ex and KE. Don't believe this site, get to know the people and quit generalizing!

The ignorance of posts on this site are staggering, and many have embarrassed themselves. Lambda Chi Alpha is one of the most successful international fraternities of all time (fact). and it actually stands for something. It's ritual is extensive and actually means something. Lambda Chi Alpha has graduated leaders who represent the CEO's of Fortune 500 companies, President's of the United States, Congressmen, astronauts, University presidents, and many more. Lambda Chi breeds shepherds, not sheep. Hazing has no place in any organization who want to develop leaders, and Lambda Chi was the first national fraternity in the 1970's to recognize this fact. The strongest and best leaders would never put up with meaningless acts of hazing. It's the antithesis of brotherhood building. Where is your self respect? To suggest that becoming a Lambda Chi is easy is also ignorant. The process is rigorous and the education process rooted in meaning. Why do you believe it necessary to degrade a potential member to have a tight brotherhood? Because you have a ritual that lasts 10 minutes and means nothing? For those that want to run the hazing offense, great and good luck to you. If your brotherhood is so strong and processes for member recruitment and development so successful, why do you feel so compelled to attack Lambda Chi and spew this drivel?
