Question from an old…

by: buzz buzz

Random but as someone who graduated a while ago, just wondering if certain Greek traditions/events (run of the roses, KA old south, sigma chi derby days, wet friday) are still around at GT?

You have got to be pretty old. Old south is no longer a thing nationally and KA has always been lower tier at GT - from the 60s until today.

They didn't say anything about the tier KA is in... just asked about traditions. Obsessed with ranks much or just feeling insecure today? To actually answer the question - wet friday - yes but its turned into wet weekend. Derby Days - yes, but been through some evolutions as support from sororities has varied, old south phased out nationally, but was still a thing at tech in the early 2000s, and run for the roses - in name only, the event is totally different now
