Sorority Descriptions
by: questionWhat are the reputations/descriptions about each sorority at tech? I know there is not just one type of girl in each house but Im just curious what the general vibe is of each chapter.

Only difference is some houses are more accepting of minorities while others arent. Also groups like ZTA Aphi AXiD are always hanging around every groups events while other groups like PM AXO and ADPi only throw events with like 2 groups each and are more christian than they are fun.

in no particular order…
adpi- popular, christian, white, hang w KA and SAE
zeta- blonde, popular, big party girls, most are super smart
phi mu- nice girls, pretty diverse, supposedly cliquey (?)
axo - diverse, liberal, good sisterhood
axid- strong sisterhood, pretty diverse, hang w a variety of frats
aphi- less of a set identity, fun girls, very diverse, can be intimidating imo
agd- super sweet, not huge partiers, strong ties w DX and DY
theta - sweet girls, no set identity since it’s the newest on campus

Definitely agree with these! Just a few more details I’ve heard (but like you mentioned each sorority is more than any one liner description)
Adpi - most “southern sorority” and known for having mostly business majors
Axo - really involved in philanthropy, very granola vibe
Aphi - known for being very competitive, both in good way with intramural and stuff but also with each other, wins green week every year, big big partiers
Agd - known as the smart and studious sorority with lots of stem majors, also real big into philanthropy, girl next door vibe
Theta - has a rep for being more awkward or shy but very very sweet girls, just less sorority ish if that makes sense

Pretty decent, struggle a bit with numbers but have good relations with adpi and have fun events
