I meant in Georgia. DG only has one chapter, at UGA and they're a bottom chapter. Alpha Phi only has 1 chapter, at Tech and they're a joke. Gamma Phi only has 3 chapters in Georgia, 2/3 are less than 10 years old. And Alpha Gam has a few more chapters but some are at smaller schools and they're just not a strong group in general.

generally sororities like dg and gamma phi are only thriving up north..greek like in the south is viewed as a whole different story and people in the north generally try to emulate southern greek life(especially SEC schools)..Itd be awesome if that trend would continue here and we could get sororities like tri delt, chi o, and kappa

....are you insane? have you done any research? Gphi and DG are not just strong in the north but strong nationwide! While they are weaker in GA, there are many top Panhellenic organizations that do not have many chapters in GA. Pi beta phi, Kappa and Theta come to mind.

Gamma Phi Beta. They are losing a chapter in the KSU/Southern Poly merger.

All the groups presenting are strong Panhellenic nationals. At this point I think Gamma Phi could have the slight edge here due to state alum support. But all of them are first rate. Greek life is growing!

True. It's posted on DG's HQ FB page. Alpha Gamma Delta was selected as the 2nd stacked option, no less than 2 years following DG.

Delta Gamma is rising at UGA. The girls will bring an awesome sorority to this campus! Let's show some PanhelLOVE and welcome this chapter.

So Gamma Phi once again has the unhappy task of being a third stack colony onto a campus. At several other campuses, Gamma Phi has had to withdraw from their third stack position due to no further housing being available and/or no further increased student interest (IE two sorority colonies were enough). What a joke. Why even bother to 3rd pick Gamma Phi for us when they rarely get to colonize from that position?
