Greek life is good and bad. You can meet a lot of great people and make really good friends. You’re basically garaunteed a social life which is helpful. But be aware, a lot of people in Greek life here are just trying to live out their high school popularity, and god it’s so annoying when people only care about appearances. Find your people and you will thrive!!

GCSU is honestly so underrated as it is such a fun school, especially if you get involved in Greek life. Most people here are involved in Greek life because it is how you will have a good social life since it’s pretty small here. I honestly love the Greek scene here. It’s so different from big schools, because Tier’s genuinely don’t matter. Everyone is friends with everyone and it’s a lot of fun and pretty genuine. Definitely rush!!

At GCSU everyone is either greek or religious. Theres really nothing to do in milledgeville unless you go greek. There are some chapters that are very rude & exclusive (Phi Mu, ZTA), some chapters that no one wants (ADPi, DZ, AOPi, KD) and then theres some that will take anyone (DG and AGD). Be careful during rush, also know it's ok to drop. There are also 2 greek councils that rush AFTER school starts if you'd rather play it safe (SAO and GSS). I do think everyone should go greek, but sometimes panhellenic isn't the move, especially seeing how they seem to be turning against each other and exposing everyone. yikes.

Greek life at GCSU is really great. It makes Milledgeville more enjoyable. There’s not a clear division between those in Greek life and those not, though generally people stick to Greek friends if they’re involved. None of the sororities haze, except dz has in the past year or so. Otherwise, great scene, diverse members, though female dominated for sure

Greek life works well at GC. They make life fun in the little town of Millyvegas. ATO seems to be at the top of the frats. All the sororities have cool girls.

good greek organizations. sorority with no hazing policies. dz has a history with hazing but other than that sorority life on this campus is competitive and each sorority has a great group of women. best frat is ATO but frats throw pretty good parties.

greek life a gc is awesome! sadly there was a few events involving hazing last year as a ato and dz were suspended from campus! dz is the only sorority that hazes but all of the others do not. greek life at gc is a lot of fun and always keeps you social and busy

Greek life needs new fraternities and more help.
