So I'm thinking about transferring schools but I'm already in a sorority at my current school. Would I still be considered an active at GMU, or would I be on early alum status?

Pretty sure all you'd have to do is introduce yourself to some sisters and go to chapter.

From what I understand, it depends on the organization! Mine, for example, has a whole process for becoming an official member of a different chapter. There are probably case-by-case considerations, so I would try to get in contact with the sorority and ask about the process.
