Furman University - FU 3.8 Recruitment is a sham. Even girls in the sorority don't know how the picking process works and are usually disappointed.

Furman University - FU 2.0 Sororities don't have houses. Fraternity houses are pretty ****ty (KA is the only one that remotely resembles an actual fraternity house). All the houses are located in random spots off-campus, mostly in residential neighborhoods. University supplied security and sign-in sheet are present at all parties (no, I'm not kidding). Alcohol is technically allowed at parties for the over 21 crowd, but don't expect to show up and find a keg, bar, cases, etc..Parties are capped at a certain amount of people. Bar scene in downtown Greenville is solid, but for some reason Furman students only go to the same two bars. "The Barn" on Tuesdays and Thursdays is actually a pretty fun spot. Furman social scene is simply not that great. If you are looking for a good greek life and party scene, then Furman is definitely not the place for you.

Furman University - FU 4.0 Furman is a small school without girls than boys...but Fraternity parties are the center of social scene. Anyone who is interested can find one for them. I like Sigma Chi and Tau Kappa Epsilon. They are very different frat that are thriving on a preppy rich kids campus. Community Service is a little thin.
