rushing a sorority as a sophomore transfer?

I'm thinking of transferring to BU next fall and I was wondering if it'd be hard to get into a good sorority if I'm a sophomore transfer. Also, do you need to be in greek life to have fun/make friends or is greek life not a huge thing? Thanks so much! :)

you don't "need" to be in greek life at BU- but if you're into a more traditional "college" experience, it makes a big difference.
there were lots of sophomores in my pledge class!
