Don't you think the most popular fraternities i.e. the ones with the most members would be top tier? I'm talking about KOT, Kappa Sig, ATO, and Phi Chi.

All have over 100 members, and yes logic says the most popular would be top tier.

Top tier has more to do with reputation and less to do with pure numbers.

KOT and Kappa Sig have been good for a long time and are fairly hard to get into.

ATO was kicked off campus for like 20 years and is one of the easiest to join.

Phi Chi was started by KOT de pledges in the 1990s.

So ATO and Phi Chi are not top tier.

Top tier is about quality.

ATO guys are not bad people but they are huge dorks\nerds.

The young life and gamer kids from high school who had never been with a girl.

Baylor has not changed in decades.

KOT & Kappa Sig top tier.

SAE top tier to middle tier.

ATO, Phi Delt, SigEp, Delt middle tier.

Pi Kapp, TKE, Beta, Sigma Chi bottom tier.

If ATO and Phi Chi are "top tier".............than Baylor greek life has serious problems.

No wonder people make fun of Baylor for producing "soft" boys.

There has been been a little change in the tiers but not much.

Phi Delt in the 1980s...then they feel down.

SigEp in the 1990s...then they feel down.

Fiji in the 2000s....then they feel down.

Really only KOT, KSig, and SAE have been top tier year in and year out.

I think you mean "fell" down.

And yes I agree.

Phi Delt in the 80s was good, SigEp in the 90s was good, and Fiji in the 2000s but none of them had the staying power of KOT/KSig.

Spot on some fraternities can be top tier for a short time- Phi Delt, SigEp, Fiji

But only two or three have been top tier for decades- KOT, KSig, SAE
