Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at Eastern Michigan University - EMU 4.8 This is a great sorority. Whenever you see one, you see another. Their sisterhood is strong and you can see it whenever you're on campus. Very social and kind to everyone they encounter. I've never met a Sigma Kappa I didn't like. Great group of ladies.

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at Eastern Michigan University - EMU 4.8 They are getting a lot of hate lately but this sorority is still a great one. They love their sisters and their sorority and did so well in rush this year! I know they want what is best for their sorority but please don’t forget what may help the rest of campus!

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at Eastern Michigan University - EMU 1.0 This chapter doesn't care about other Panhellenic sisters. Just their chapter and what they need. Not what Greek Life needs as a whole. Extremely sad

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at Eastern Michigan University - EMU 2.2 I personally don't like this chapter because they are very selective at recruitment. This year they chose the prettiest out of the pretty for their new members. I feel as it is very exclusive and hard to join. Personally, I never would pick this sorority. They very much fit the sterotypical sorority vibe that you see in the movies.

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at Eastern Michigan University - EMU 3.0 It's very confusing when a chapter talks about inclusivity, but then all their member have on blue jean "trendy 90s" skirts. Not simply for gender reasons, but also women like me who may be having body image issues and not feel comfortable. It is one thing to not see someone who does not look like me (height, shape, color, etc), it is another thing to know that this "one image" is the one promoted and embraced. Hopefully today is better, but I was uncomfortable.

I have a Strong feeling this is just from some other sorority who just was mad SK was the only chapter not wearing white pants.

Wow I just now came back months after I posted this. The response above is disappointing. I am now in a greek chapter and friends with SKs and was just sharing my feelings as an outsider from the 1st day of rounds. The person above's response comes across ignorant, aggressive and lacking of empathy(who hurt you?) whether that is their intention or not. Intent does not negate impact. To the person above I would love to grab coffee sometime and chat about our differences. I came on this website in the hope that someone would see my remark and encourage me, not assume I was competition. Who knew inclusion could be an upsetting topic to a "diverse" greek organization ?

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at Eastern Michigan University - EMU 4.2 you'll find them at a party, you'll find them leaders on campus, you'll find them doing nothing at all. Say what you want, they are one of the only sorority on this campus who actually retains girls unlike most of the chapters here who have girls drop each semester.
