I know a couple of women from Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. They have a few women from the LGBTQ community, so I would say they do not discriminate and are diverse. These women are very classy and hold themselves to high standards, they will not just take anyone into their chapter. These women show dedication to each other. Sisterhood is the key factor in all NPHC sororities but I can really see it within this one the most. These women do not use their letters as clout points. They don't take advantage of being in such a well-known sorority, but you better get out of the way when they "Shake that Monkey" because they will accidentally kick you. Overall these ladies are a great asset to Black EMU. I really wish they would do more events on campus. Matter of fact I wish ALL the sororities would do more events, maybe even collab with one another. I am sophomore Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority incorporated interest, and they are inactive on campus which breaks my heart. I will not be trying to pledge any other sorority but I just want the existing sorors to continue to have events and continue to bring in more women to keep their chapters, especially Sigma Gamma Rho, we need more women like them on campus. I just don't want any other ladies to be disappointed like me because previous sorors were not doing what they were supposed to do. SIDE NOTE: if a member of the Delta Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. just so happens to read this or any soror or frat from Eastern Michigan just so happens to read this, can you just do whatever you can to persuade the AKA graduate chapter to consider an intake process. I know a couple of undergraduate women they are very serious interest and we would be honored to have the opportunity to change the way people look at Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
