Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority Ratings at DU

The most unsisterly sorority on Duquesne's campus. Not only are they rude to each other but they go out of their way to sabotage other sororities for their own benefit. I'm sure there are some nice girls in this organization but if you're looking for an overall genuine and welcoming sisterhood, sigma kappa is not the one for you.

Being friends with a lot of Sig kaps, I can honestly say how close their sisterhood is and how involved they are on campus. They do so much for their own philanthropy as well as support everyone else's. The girls on the wing are all so close and yes have fun and go out but also are always down to stay in and order pizza. If I had gone Greek I would have gone Sig kap for sure.

These girls are some of the friendliest I've met on campus. They also seem to be more genuine than most of the top and middle tier sororities. They do go out a lot but just because they drink doesn't make them a bad person... I have heard that they aren't the classiest at times but honestly none of the sororities are.

When I hear "Sig Kap", I always have to remind myself they exist on campus. To me they are unicorns along with the Sig Taus, and they socialize a lot with each other too. Decent girls overall, but All I know is that they go out a lot! Not much campus involvement, but how many other sororities are THAT involved?

Sigma Kappa came out with some fire in their eyes this past semester. All of a sudden they've been gaining some popularity but it might just be for show as they did need the numbers. They're a very social group and some refer to them as the "Frat" of the sororities on campus due to the way they act sometimes. The girls I know in Sigma Kappa are SO nice though. Their spring pledge class was a really great group of girls (a side from the fact that some dropped...)

They definitely smoke a lot of pot and drink in excess on the weekends, but they are also one of the more chill laid back sororities. Hot girls but can be sloppy. Either lower top tier or upper middle tier.

Everyone seems to comment on the social lives of these women. Although an overly social lifestyle might not be for everyone, that might be what some ladies going through recruitment are looking for. Best of luck!!

They are super chill girls who know how to have a lot of fun. Very smart girls but take advantage of their weekends. Super friendly and talk to everyone, even if they're not in greek life. Also, they killed it in carnival this year!

A lot of the sisters smoke pot. Haven't seen them do a lot of constructive things on campus for their image and philanthropy.

People say they never seem them on campus, but I always do. They don't make as much noise as other organizations cause they don't need to. They have a solid sisterhood and are happy to just keep being themselves. I think they're pretty great and like they're not hyper involved in the drama. Good luck in Carnival!
