Ranking thoughts

Well, what you said, basically. People do not like to change “rankings” because it would upset other girls. Doesn’t really matter how houses should be ranked, just how they already are. Also, AOPI’s house is off the main row. That doesn’t help them, they might be ranked higher if they were on Jefferson with the majority of the rest. I could see them being ranked higher but, who really cares?

That’s not true at all. First of all let me say there is not a bad house at FSU.. but there are most definitely differences amongst them and you will see that at rush

the entire ranking thing is stupid, but because it exists girls in “higher houses” will never let it shift. My ranking of all the houses would be entirely different than from how they are now, but because they’ve been like this so long no one will change it. Every house is good in its own ways. I don’t know much about aoii but it seems mid tier to me. surprised it’s “ranked” as low as it is, but from one google search I could probably say why, it’s the newest chapter on campus. New chapters are almost always ranked low, even if they should be higher.

I actually really agree with this, I think Aoii should be ranked a lot higher. They’ve got a great house and really pretty girls, compared to gphi and sdt they just look more put together, not to put down the other houses, just my opinion

Here’s a way to explain it. You’re driving down I-75 and you see a huge dealership with a sign that says “Luxury Automobiles for Sale.”
You drive in. They’ve got everything: Rolls, Porsches, Mercedes, Jags, small exotic sports cars, huge King Ranch trucks, top of the line Denalis and Caddy Escalades and more rows and rows of great looking toys.
FSUs sorority system is over 120 years old. Huge chapters, magnificent houses.
That luxury car dealership gives you a lot of choices, but they’re ALL luxury models.
It’s the same with sororities here.
