Greek Rank is a toxic website that encourages harmful comparisons, gossip,
and cyberbullying among college students involved in Greek life. Rather than fostering
community, it promotes superficial rankings based on looks,
popularity, and rumors—often anonymously. This fuels insecurity, judgment,
and divisiveness, especially among young individuals still forming their identities.
It creates a toxic environment that values perception over character, and can seriously
impact mental health and self-esteem. Instead of engaging with platforms that thrive on negativity,
students should focus on building genuine connections and self-worth. Greek Rank does more harm than
good and should be avoided.

I get that your concerns are aimed more at sorority women than fraternity men. I’d say maybe even exclusively at sororities. Maybe I can add something helpful. Fraternity men, certainly in the top fraternities, do not care AT ALL whether a woman is in a sorority or not. And if a woman is in a sorority, those fraternity men do not care AT ALL which sorority they’re in. My point is if a woman is considering going through recruitment don’t place any importance in what fraternity men say about particular sororities. And don’t place any importance on which sororities pair with which fraternities. The truth is no one cares.

I get that it can be entertaining, but sometimes the things we enjoy aren't always the healthiest. Greek Rank thrives on negativity, and even if it's fun in the moment, it can really hurt people. I think we’re all capable of spending our time in ways that build others up instead of tearing them down. Just something to think about.
