Who was Top long ago

by:

It would be interesting to know who the top fraternities at FSU were 20 years ago. Or even 50 years. No way to know now. I heard TKE used to be big here. Does anyone know?

Lambda chi who just came back used to be massive here in the 80s 90s. They should get up there again.

That’s true. Lambda Chi and Phi Delt were top tier for a long time. They both just came back and Phi Delt is already over 100.

My grandad was an SAE when there were three fraternity houses together across Tennessee St.
SAE, ATO and KA ruled the school, according to him.

Correct. But they started to close those houses in the early 90s and moved those guys all over. But when they were over there together, easy to recruit in one spot

Pike and KAOrder are the only two top houses that have not gotten kicked off in the last 25 years.

ATO, Delta, PiKapp, PhiSig, PhiTau and until now lambda chi all had big history at FSU. SigmaChi, also were huge. It’s better for the system when all come back.

Mid-late 90s- Sigma Chi, PiKapp, Delts, ATO were biggest through early 2000s. PhiSig and PhiTau were pretty big after that. Pretty much all the big legacy fraternities are gone but starting to come back- like Lambda chi/phidelt…
