Ok that’s true, but at least those houses offer some type of experience with that fake image. What does agd give? Elementary level sleepovers and end of the year holiday dress up parties with hot cocoa? It’s not worth $3000, other houses give much more to their members and expect way more involvement from their members, and treat them with respect, two things out of the many agd lacks. That’s why this post is terrible, there’s nothing that agd can give these women that’ll make the money spend worth it while trying to draw them in and deceive them at the same time. other houses live up to their image that they put out.

I agreed with you on almost everything except for the part where you talked about agd seeing something in people. They actually bid everyone who even remotely shows them interest, and I’m pretty sure they’re COBing in the spring so they’ll be reaching out themselves. It’s kinda hard NOT to get a bid from agd tbh.

There are so many similar stories on GR about struggling houses at other schools. They lean hard into being "real" and woke and not like the others, but the reality is they're desperate for members, have major problems with cliques and mean girls, and are embarrassed to rep their letters. Just goes to show that bottom doesn't equal good sisterhood.

Alpha gam is apparently struggling at every other campus too lmao. I have a friend at South Carolina and he says alpha gam is the same there, but they actually have a decent sisterhood so they’re not at risk of falling apart. Apparent their founding chapter at Syracuse is bottom tier as well. It’s pretty depressing when your first chapter in org history is the worst on their campus too :/

True. Every house does this but on the down low that’s why agd exist. It’s made up of all the girls the other houses didn’t take. This whole thread is so hypocritical
