by: JuThey they have a different pledgeship due to their schedule? My friend that’s a recruit wants to Rush if he comes here but didn’t know how much leeway they get in terms of attending stuff bc they’re so busy

Depends on the chapter. But generally if you’re a football player you’ll probably have less pledge responsibilities, if any. It’s a lot easier. I had one in my pc and he was around when he could be but didn’t really do much which is fine IMO. Same deal as kids with jobs.

FSU football and baseball pledges are more active depending on how many non athlete friends they have among the Brothers. UNC head coach Mack Brown was an SAE here and still participates as an alum. Mike Fuentes gave his Golden Spike Award to be displayed in the Pike house. Burt Reynolds and TK Wetherell both played football and we’re always active with Phi Delt alumni.
