This is why people hate sig ep
by: AlrightThis is the real reason people hate sig ep. first off: Greek life already has a target on their back and instead of banding together with other fraternities, sig ep chooses the side of the administration. The literally kiss the ass of the student affairs people , to the point where they get commended for “setting themselves apart” by people like Vice President Hecht who is single handedly taking down fraternities . Second: they don’t even act like a real fraternity : they don’t call pledges “pledges” because it’s a “lifetime process of brotherhood”, have a dry house, house dad and more therefore putting pressure on other fraternities when there’s already a lot. Last, they straight up lie about stuff, just spreading misinformation to get kids to rush. They talk up they’re new house when it’s literally a sorority house down to the specifics . They don’t have tailgates, party at potbellies , comment on here that “spedc was the best party of the year” and that they “rage”. Just straight up lying. It all roots down to them being the definition of top tier wannabes. They copy pikes clothing brand to sound cool “lonely at the top” and try to front like they’re cool when sororities like adpi tried to get a new diamond man when a sig ep won because they didn’t want him. Just own up to you actually are. I’m done. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

How about I debunk it all for you because you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. So for starters, sigep nationals switched their ways for a reason. Insurance. Guess what? They are getting exactly what they wanted from it and it’s shown from people like you. It takes the target off their back, they are looked at as non threatening. Why would they want to do that? Because schools shut down frats left and right. Before 2015, sig ep and sigma chi were the top 2 fraternities nationally known for going crazy and partying and their chapters constantly got shut down. Now they have a safety net. They say things like “we don’t use the word pledge”, “we are a dry house” okay yeah and almost every fraternity nationals claim they are a no-haze fraternity. It’s a wink-wink situation. On paper they aren’t called pledges. Do they have the same rules as a sorority house ? No. The only rule is you cannot drink alcohol in the house. How is this “enforced” ? by another alcoholic frat boy who pledged sigep years ago. Just like how other frat presidents make sure no hazing goes on wink wink. Was spedc the best party at FSU last year? No but it was one of them for sure. Pike academy was overrated and disappointing, DX and Fiji were whatever, Theta Chi threw an okay one. You love to hate them, but sig ep helps FSU Greek life because it “gives them hope”. They defend OTHER fraternities and show them that fraternities aren’t just about alcoholism. President of IFC is a sig ep and works together with other fraternities to make sure nothing goes wrong that would get them in trouble themselves. VP Hecht single handedly is shutting down frats...oh you mean the ones that killed someone, have video proof of them beating tf out of a pledge, and so on? When there’s concrete proof like that you can’t turn the other cheek. If sig ep wasn’t at FSU anymore do you think it would benefit or hurt greek life? It would absolutely hurt it because then there’s no cushion to use as an example as to why fraternities should stay. FSU hates fraternities if you haven’t noticed. You think it would benefit FSU if sigep was gone? Yeah so they could say “fraternities don’t bring any good” and continue to kick them off as they have in the past. And if you think sororities hate sig ep you either don’t go to this school or you don’t have any sorority relations yourself. If sig ep was truly a goody 2 shoe frat who doesn’t drink and are full of beta males, why are they so high up? Yeah some frats like Phi tau got kicked off which brought them up but they are still better than everyone but 3 fraternities. Hm how could that be. Don’t be stupid and spread false information when you don’t know a sig ep to even base it off of. You sound ridiculous when you don’t do your research.

This is hilarious because I’m literally refreshing the page and watching likes go up on this post but the views stay the same. It went up 8 likes in less than 1 minute with the same amount of views. And on top of that comments dissing sigep have a like or 2 before I could even see the original posting. It’s confirmed that it’s the same person liking their own post or comments.
