blacklisted pledges

Word on the street is that all the Phi Tau and Delt pledges are blacklisted at Theta Chi, PIKE and KA. Is this true?

No. Not true. Those were good fraternities that attracted top tier pledges. They should join good fraternities and the good fraternities want them.

I’m a former Delt pledge and I can affirm that Theta Chi has blacklisted all delt and Phi Tau pledges. No idea what the others are doing though. They think Delt pledges are trouble makers considering the reputation of both fraternities

Most guys knew what they signed up for with Delt. They were famous for their hazing. Know what you sign up for...

I guess this is why they are getting blacklisted. All they are going to do is cause more trouble. It’s a new era here at FSU.

I’m not in Pike, Theta Chi, or KA but I am on exec at another chapter and our pres said the other presidents went around and said they were going to make an effort to not take any dispossessed delt or Phi Tau pledges this semester because they’re a huge liability, especially delt because they were all subpoenaed.

That said - those guys are probably cool so if you ARE a formal delt or phi tau pledge, you probably still have a chance. Just avoid the question of telling anyone as best you can. Until you earn the trust of the brothers you meet keep your mouth shut.

I am the #1 poster and when I referred to “good” fraternities it looks like I offended. There was no intent on my part. I just thought Phi Tau and Delt were high rated chapters and figured their former pledges would want to join similar chapters. Really all the fraternities left at FSU have good guys. The difference is mostly in size and chapter ambition (do they like winning?). I didn’t mean to insult anybody.

Can confirm some frats are blacklisting those kids. The only one we're absolutely not going to accept is the one that started all of this in the first place, he is a huge liability and knows who he is.

I’m talking about the delt kid from the initial incident that told his RA about the hazing going on. He’s rushing again. He’s the liability. I won’t name names.

A Puke did not post the above comment about the Delt kid, but I can understand why the other fraternities are gun shy. No one wants to pledge someone they can’t trust. No one hazes like the Delts did. Guys who pledged there know what they were getting into.

The pledges knew what they were getting into - but I truly believe it was taken way too far. I know some good guys that pledged Delt - they should be given a chance.
