How long does pledging take? I feel like it’s been going on forever and I keep hearing rumors it’ll be done soon but it doesn’t stop

The deadline to initiate new members was November 3rd as seen on the IFC website and calendar. If your chapter isn’t following that rule they could get in trouble.

It depends on how good a pledge you are. Some fraternities have a 'double secret extended pledgeship' that could last until March. It's like fight club; nobody talks abut it.
