does age matter in recruitment?
by: PotentialI'm getting a second Bachelor's degree and I really want to have the sorority experience. Does age make a difference in recruitment?

Why do you want to be in a new member class with a bunch of 18 year olds? And have mixers with a bunch of younger frat boys? The junior and senior actives already have their close friend groups, not to mention the seniors are about done with it all and focusing on graduation and the next phase of life. Do you think you would find a close friend group in that kind of dynamic?

I really don't mean to sound harsh but yes it does. I can almost guarantee that you would be dropped by every house after the first round during formal recruitment, unless you really REALLY wowed one of the girls rushing you in a house. Your best bet would be to have a close friend in one of the houses and ask her to vouch for you during COB if they even have it.

You don't seem to understand that those aren't really questions; they are reasons that she would get cut first round. The actives would all be thinking these things and knowing first hand that a pnm like this would not fit in their mc or their house, for all these reasons. I would question the judgement and maturity of such a pnm as well.
