what makes delt a top tier frat?
by: FreshmanAll I've seen on this site about DTD is that they're top tier and typically ranked as the #2 fraternity. However all you read about them on here is how they have the hardest hazing.

I am not a Delt but I am a fraternity men. Delt is a brotherhood of good looking athletic men with access to the best sororities. Delt and Pike are very similar but there are important distinctions. Delt and Pike are the two fraternitues that best fit the description of good looking athletic men who are in with the best sororities.

Delt is higher in the rankings than ATO or Theta Chi because they have slightly better sorority relations. They have their fair share of parties but like Pike, they have a bad reputation of spiking the drinks at those parties.

Don't buy into the BS about Pike and Delt spiking girls' drinks. If it ever did happen, it hasn't happened in years and years. It's the thing jealous rivals say when they don't have anything else they can criticize.
As to your question about 'rankings' vs ATO and Theta Chi (and Phi Tau) think of it this way: These five fraternities are like the top five college football teams. Think Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Michigan (?). The rankings may change from time to time but all five are always in the hunt.
Also, don't think that anyone ranks fraternities by their parties. EVERY fraternity thinks they have great parties. FSU administration has screwed the whole party business up for everyone. Truth: If you join the right fraternity, you'll have the right girls around you all the time, parties aside.

Thank you. One more question I have is what would make delt "higher ranked" than ATO or OX. Is it just sorority relations or do they have better parties/tailgates
