what fraternities/sororities are the best nationally?

Ok well for fraternities the biggest/most well-known nationwide are ones like Sigma Chi, Lambda Chi, SAE, Pike, ATO and TKE. So of those 6, only 4(3 excluding TKE because they're tiny) have chapters at FSU. Pike is, well, Pike. ATO is really good Too. SAE is like dead middle but getting better IMO.
For sororities, Chi O, Theta, Tri Delt, Kappa, Pi Phi, and DZ are the biggest/ most well-known. All of them have chapters here.
This is also good to know if you're wondering what fraternities or sororities have good alumni networks. All of the ones mentioned above do.

Look, don’t buy into any casual ranking of ‘national’ fraternities.
Some fraternities like Beta and Fiji and Theta Chi and KA and Delt are not large but they’re respected and very good on a lot of big campuses. They are prestige fraternities.
Yes, SAE Sigma Chi Pike and Sig Ep are large but no more or less prestigious than some others.

you’re absolutely right - but I just based that post off of numbers. Every fraternity you mentioned has not only a lot of chapters, but a lot of respected chapters. So certainly don’t count them out.

i would put kappa delta on that list and take off theta.. i had never heard of it before i came to this school
