fall rush vs. spring rush
by: anonHow does fall sorority recruitment differ from spring? I also heard that some houses don't participate for spring and if thats true, than which ones do?

Recruitment week is in the fall at FSU and the one and only time all houses participate and take large new member classes. There isn't really a spring recruitment. In spring some houses give out a few bids if they have openings but there is no guarantee which houses, if any, might choose to do that from year to year. It is not organized by panhellenic with planned events or anything and a lot of times the houses don't announce they are taking new members, they just quietly give bids to girls they already know. There really is no comparison.
