We used to have more than we have now. We had Alpha Xi Delta, Sigma Kappa and Tri Sig. So many girls want to join and they get turned down. Alpha Phi and AOPI were gone for a long time and they came back and are ding well.

You need to consider the housing situation. In order for any new chapter to be successful, they must build a house. Unless Sigma Kappa still owns their house (which is where Kappa Sig is now) it could be difficult to secure land around the FSU campus. And any other sorority that were to come on will need housing.

Sigma Kappa still owns their house and is renting it out to Kappa Sig (and they rented it out to Sigma Chi before them.) If they were to come back they would need to take out another mortgage to fix that place up but it's possible.

They both had big houses before they left campus. FSU took over the A-Phi house and Sig Ep took the AOPi house. Now both have come back and built big houses again. There's no reason AXD or Tri-Sig can't do the same. Sigma Kappa already owns the ATO/SAE/Sigma Chi/Kappa Sig house.
