Alpha Gamma Delta - ΑΓΔ Sorority Ratings at FSU

The kicker for me in this chapter was when I’d try to connect with sisters from other chapters of alpha gamma delta (because my own chapter offered none of the sisterhood that they said they would when we were rushing), the sisters would ghost me as soon as they heard/realized that I was from the Florida state chapter. It honestly hurt so bad every time it happened. Turns out other chapters outside of fsu are actually really good and looked down on the fsu chapter pretty intensely.

My mom was in alpha gam when they were good, a couple decades back. She says that she keeps almost no contact with the newer members/alumni because of the kinds of girls they’ve been recruiting. They used to have a lot of “but alpha gam has this:” factors like higher gpas, a welcoming and non-judgemental sisterhood, strong philanthropy, and no fakeness or drama. Alpha gam now suffers from all of these: GPA is nowhere near as high as it used to be, with newer classes having significantly lower GPAs, lots of cliques and fakeness among the sisters, next to nothing raised for philanthropy, and an overall poor experience for how expensive their dues are. My mom is a proud alpha gam, but she laments at how far her chapter at fsu has fallen. It’s tragic that the sorority is finally coming to a bitter end after so much struggling. They could’ve changed things so many times over, but they never did.

In come the post rush reviews when the sisters feel crappy about their decision. It’s an annual thing. Stop kidding yourselves.

Legit nobody believes these reviews, stop spamming them and drop while you have the chance. Remember, once you get initiated, you’re locked in!

This is by far the worst sisterhood on campus. If you get stuck with this seat after all of the warnings not to go here, its on you lol

you ladies know that you can still be friends with people who aren’t alpha gams or who dropped right? this srat is run by cliques, and that’s not saying much.

The real question is why would anyone knowingly join this srat. They can’t even raise a decent of amount of money for their philanthropy, or be known for anything besides being the bottom and having members drop. Doesn’t seem like they can be friends with anyone who isn’t an alpha gam. Definitely one of the cliquest srats.

Imagine paying $5,000 (the third highest in dues on campus) for a sorority that is the unanimous bottom, has barely any good alumni connections, is widely hated across campus, and is shunned by everyone. If you’re into being given 20+ shirts that will most likely never leave your closet because most sisters refuse to wear alpha grab a donut merch, be my guest. A joke of a sorority, but I guess the misfits need to go somewhere right? 🤷🏼‍♀️
