Alpha Xi Delta - ΑΞΔ Sorority at California State University Northridge - CSUN 2.4 . I'm not found of their philanthropy, and it makes it hard to support them in their endeavors even though I try to support all houses.Perhaps they should think twice about having a philanthropy that makes people with autism into a tragedy. People with autism are people who want acceptance like all of us. There are different ways to be in this world. Acceptance is the only cure.

I really don't understand who the psycho is that goes around and bashes every single chapter of Alpha Xi because of their philanthropy. GET A GRIP. The philanthropy is chosen by Nationals. It's not something that the individual chapters can control.

I have gone to all most all of their philanthropy events and not once have they ever said that people who have autism are "broken" or that they need "fixing." All Alpha Xi Delta tries to do during their events is raise money for autism research or raise awareness. And since when are either of those a bad thing?

I support Autisum Speaks. I do not put a tragic "spin" on those who suffer from autism nor do I think they are broken. The philanthropy is to raise awareness, understanding, fund research( to find a cure) and to assist families that need help paying for medical expenses. I urge you to look at Autisum Speaks website and read their mission statement. A student of mine; who is Autistic, was excited and touched when I wore my "Autisum Speaks Alpha Xi Delta listens" bracelet to school one day. He kept telling me how happy he was that I supported people like him and grabbed my wrist throughout the day to look at the bracelet. I ended up giving it to him and he has not taken it off since. Guess what, that braclet opened up a conversation about Autisim to my whole class. My students now understand Autisum better and as a result are kinder and more patient with their classmate who suffers from it.

Alpha Xi Delta - ΑΞΔ Sorority at California State University Northridge - CSUN 4.6 This sorority is awesome! They have hot girls but they're also super sweet, athletic, and drama-free. They have great sisterhood and have a bunch of cool events. There's no doubt in my mind that they're going to be top house this year.

Alpha Xi Delta - ΑΞΔ Sorority at California State University Northridge - CSUN 2.6 Being in a sorority is more than being a sweetheart to some frat (and honestly it's border line big bro/lil bro conduct). Having an exclusive women/men only organization is a privilege and being affiliated as 'sweetheart'/ wearing a frat's letters, could revoke our ability to be so exclusive. We've had several concerns arise with AZD's and their ways of "being involved" with fraternities, sportsmanship at intermurals, and grades. These ladies need to clean up their act.

Alpha Xi Delta - ΑΞΔ Sorority at California State University Northridge - CSUN 4.8 The most involved Sorority on campus hands down. They may have lost it in grades, but they are making up for it everywhere else. And who is to say that TOP and Ophi are not fraternities? Alpha Xi Delta has the most sweethearts out of any Sorority on CSUN campus. Alpha Epsilon Pi, Tau Omega Rho, Omega Phi and Pi Kappa Alpha. Does that say bottom tier to you?

The most involved Sorority on campus hands down. They may have lost it in grades, but they are making up for it everywhere else. And who is to say that TOP and Ophi are not fraternities? As recruitment nears, be opened minded. Not just with AXID, but all the houses. Everyone finds their home in a different place, so find yours and respect those who found it elsewhere.

Idk if they collect a lot of Tom boys for recruitment. I am planning to rush this fall, but from what I seen from last semester I don't think they are that interesting.
