Fraternity 411. Need to know more

Sigma Chi is very established and the most XO/Kappa-like fraternity in that you generally need strong connections and/or alumni support. They’ll take some random and OOS guys (because at this point all frats’ nationals tend to dictate that even old school chapters broaden their scope a bit) but it’s predominantly an Arkansas, good-old-boy mix (including lots of small town AR boys).

KA is upper mid maybe? Pretty strong for a somewhat newish chapter (they were banished for a while but had good local support for a comeback). They seem to be bringing in a few more local/AR guys but it’s still lots of Texas and KC fellows.

If you are going or have a chance of going Sigma Chi you probably know already.

KA isn’t like that but still not easy to get in. It’s a good group.

Overall men’s recruitment isn’t as intense as women’s but it’s still pretty competitive
