Frat Summer Rush

Nearly every single fraternity on campus will have summer Rush events. If you are even just the slightest bit interested I recommend going to as many as you can. Rush for guys is insanely competitive and if you decide that Greek life is for you, you’re going to want your name out there at as many places as possible. I highly recommend rushing, but it’s not for everyone.

SigEp has demonstrated a commitment to creating a new normal for fraternities. SigEp's industry-leading Balanced Man Program® (BMP) is structured to enable leaders and members to hold other members accountable. One of the outcomes of our chapter using the BMP is that members are more likely to not offer bids to prospective members who express highly social interactions that involve alcohol. As prospective members who want primarily social aspects of membership are less likely to return for follow-up events, the men who do return to SigEp recruitment events show greater interest in campus involvement and leadership through the Balanced Man Program. The recruitment process with the BMP is far more like a job interview where members encourage prospective members to tell about their motivations for their undergraduate experience and reasons for personal involvement. SigEp models the way for other fraternities to follow.
