Not necessarily...basically, if you stick with it throughout the whole recruitment process there's a 99% you'll get a bid from a sorority. It might not be your favorite house but you'll definitely get a bid. If you weren't going to get a bid that means you like did not say a single word in every house during recruitment lol.

So some girls fall through the cracks and get dropped by a lot of houses after the first round, this happened to me personally so after first round you should have 8 sororities left but I only had 5, after second rounds i was invited back to all 5 (which is what youre supposed to have) and now im in a top tier sororitiy so even if you have less than you should you can still get into a good sorority.

Sororities are not required to ask back anyone that they have no intention of giving a bid to. I have a friend that was asked back to 9 sororities (the maximum) for 2nd round and had one on pref night. I was asked back to 4 2nd round and had 2 on pref night (the maximum). If you don't get asked back to many the 2nd or 3rd round, it just means that the process is working quicker for you! I personally would've liked more to choose from, but I found my home.
