costs of a sorority

I'm rushing this fall semester and I am a little worried about the costs associated with Greek life. I definitely want to be in a sorority and I am extremely open minded about which one I will end up in, but I am just unsure what to expect cost-wise. What are the typical semester dues for a sorority and do they vary from each sorority? Thanks :)

Most soroities want to help you if you get in so I wouldn't worry, I'm sure they can make a plan or give you a scholarship

they decrease by semester. first semester is probably around 5-600, but the one after will be like 300, and so forth.

You pay the most when you become a new member, but just so you know there are a bunch of hidden costs that are not included in sorority dues like T-shirts, outfits for date functions, and living in the house (which is optional but it is very strongly encouraged). Don't let the cost scare you away! The cost is a small price to pay for all the memories and friends that you will make!
