sophomore recruitment

Hello! I'm a sophomore who is still debating the whole rush process. I didn't really have the money to rush last year, but I'm still curious about recruitment goes for sophomores? Are they at a disadvantage? What's some advice you'd give?

The only disadvantage is most of your pledge class is younger than you but other than that I've only heard great stuff about rushing as a sophomore! Definitely try it and if it isn't for you at least you tried :) you'll definitely get a bid! The only sorority that is somewhat against taking sophomores is ZTA.

rushing as a sophomore youre at a disadvantage just because you have already formed an opinion on each of the sororities which makes it hard to go in with an open mind! my advice is still try to be positive and be open to every house because even if you have a best friend in one of the sororities it doesn't automatically mean you'll get called back. Just be yourself and do not try to conform to each sororities stereotype because thats how you get dropped or end up in the wrong house for you.

Yeah, that seems about right. Most of my friends aren't Greek, but I thought I should at least try for the experience, ya know? And hopefully my interactions with some girls in my dorm last year won't cloud my judgement too much, haha!
