my advice is do not rush here second semester. if you are looking to make friends especially as a freshman this is not the place. you will not find your sisterhood here. no matter what you have been told it is best to check out other chapters that are more welcoming

jmu aphi is not what you typically think of as aphi at larger universities. this chapter does not live up to the aphi name. if you are looking for a top tier srat, this is not it. don't rush aphi just bcz of the name, make sure to check out others that are much better at jmu and have much nicer, genuine girls and a true sisterhood that is based on more than just what you look like. this aphi is not it.

do not rush here in the spring. they are falling fast. girls do not get along and i know a lot who want to drop. if you want a true sisterhood try another sorority

my roommate is aphi (we're freshmen). we were very close all through highschool and into college but now she doesn't ever hang out with me or talk to me. she said her sorority sisters don't like me and told her to only hang with aphis and the frats. the couple times i've been around girls in her pledge class they were not very nice to me, ignored me, gave me looks and made me uncomfortable. i hope it's not like this with everyone, but the ones i've met and not nice people.

The sorority is very welcoming and involved. Overall great sorority. Love their philanthropy events as well as their organization. Heart health is so important. Being a part of this sorority looks like so much fun and they seem so respectful and kind. Very sweet young ladies.

girls did not make me feel comfortable during recruitment, very clicky, have seen girls i met during recruitment on campus and they don't speak or acknowledge me, seem snobby, not friendly at all.

I can admit that y'all are pretty, but please stop pretending that anyone thinks y'all are nice. the girls that ive interacted with are genuinely the meanest girls ive met on this entire campus. and the self ranking isn't working, we all know you're not a top
